Ari is a PGA Associate and USGTF Certified teaching professional located in Pasadena, Maryland. He currently serves as the Lead Instructor and Junior Golf Coordinator for the Learning Center at Compass Pointe Golf Courses. Ari is originally from Mill Valley, California just north of San Francisco. As a multi-sport athlete and baseball pitcher growing up, Ari did not pick up golf until age 14. He was named Team Captain of his high school golf team as a junior and won the league championship individual title as a senior. Ari would go on to play NCAA collegiate golf at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
As a coach, Ari believes in an individualized and holistic approach. This includes incorporating new technologies with old-school fundamentals, health and fitness, course management, and the mental game. Ari enjoys introducing new players to golf, as well as coaching more experienced golfers looking for that competitive edge.
